Key features of our Automotive Grade Talc Powder:
- Fineness – Our superior grinding technology allows us to produce consistently ultra-fine talc powder having particle size of just 8 microns. As a result, our talc supports higher levels of nucleation leading to greater impact strength and stiffness in the polycarbonates.
- Thermal Conductivity – Talc has better thermal conductivity in comparison to polymer matrix. This means that heat transmission through the mixture is quicker because of the presence of Talc. As a result, both the processing and cooling of polymer compounds is accelerated because of our talc, leading to faster production rates.
- Thermal Stability – Talc has a very high melting point as compared to polycarbonates. Hence the usage of talc prevents the automotive parts from warping and degrading.
- Hydrophobicity – Being naturally hydrophobic, Talc has the tendency to repel water molecules. Therefore, it acts as a barrier and prevents warping and cracking of the automotive plastics even when exposed to high moisture environments.
- Lamellarity – Since our Talc has high lamellarity, polymers filled with our Automotive Grade Talc can withstand more strain without deformation (creep or cold flow) as compared to unfilled polymers. Additionally, Talc also achieves the highest creep resistance against any other mineral filler.
- Low Shrinkage – Owing to its fineness and the compactness of speciality raw material which we use, our Talc powder exhibits the minimum shrinkage at the time of processing in polymer compounds.
- Insulation – Talc is chemically inert, hydrophobic and has a layered molecular structure. Subsequently, it facilitates electrical insulation, water protection and gaseous-transmission barrier is the resulting polycarbonates.
- Whiteness – We offer our automotive grade talc powder in different variants having different levels of whiteness (customization also available). Depending on the colour base of the polycarbonates (White/ Black/ Grey) being manufactured, matching grades of talc powder can be used. Therefore, we are able to cater to the exact needs of the customers in this industry with the best applicable prices.
We have a setup of 7 manufacturing units with total monthly output of 2000 Metric Tons of Talc . Contact us to know more about our Automotive Grade Micronized Talc powder.
